Yet More Flowers!!

Yes more flowers!!!

I'm not going to apologise for posting so many and believe me there will be loads more posted too.

I am going to have a field day, (excuse the pun) in my father-in-laws garden on Saturday!!

They make such lovely pictures, and there are so many different types to photograph.

Even a horrid weed can make a beautiful and interesting photograph!

This is a flower of the Sage plant.

I have no idea what the bug is, but it was tiny about 1mm in size.

Looks like you could use this one as a goblet.

So Many Wonderful Expressions!!

As i had my macro lens on my camera, i thought i would have a go at shooting some shots of my son with it.
Not an easy target as he wouldn't keep still, and always turns away when mummy has the camera out.

Think he's trying to tell me something!!

In fact he's probably right, if you looked at my walls, in fact any free spot, you will see a photo of him.

But that's just me, one very proud mummy!!!!

I got 38 decent photos from this shot, but chose some of my favourites to post. As i think 38 may have been a few too many hehehe!

He has such a cheeky smile!

His smile lights up the whole of his face!

Cheeky Monkey!

So beautiful!

You caught me mummy!

Smiling Eyes!

Around The Kitchen

I thought i'd take a break from flowers, so i started on stuff around the kitchen.
Here are a few of them, I'm sure you can guess what they are!

Enjoy with a movie!

Spice it up!

Variety is the spice of life!

They are not M&M's

Theres not much room in here!

Theres a nip in the air!

Ok this isn't food, but i like it!

There are more flowers to come!

White Rose

No need for words. The photos say it all!

Can you see the little green aphids?

I love the drops of water!

One little aphid going for a drink!

This is my favourite rose shot!

Pretty in Pink!

This is the last one flipped, and look at the difference!

It's Been a Long Time!!

I love taking pictures, especially of my son, but i also enjoy macro photography.

I'm am still very much a beginner though!!!

I got my macro lens out the other day and realised i hadn't used it for 4 years, so I'm very rusty!
I really enjoyed composing the shots, and experimenting with all the different things I shot.

If you asked me what setting i used, i wouldn't be able to tell you of hand, but if you really want to know i can look it up for you.

I just keep shooting what i like and play with the setting till i get the picture how i like it.

As they say "Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder" if we all liked the same things, the world would be a very boring place!!!

These little yellow flowers actually have a diameter of about 1cm.
I don't know their name, but I'm sure my mother will inform me.
